A Word about our Law Firm
We maintain offices at 128 North Lime Street, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and 2801 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street, Pennsylvania

Each of your legal matters, however, will be supervised by one attorney. Similarly, one of our paralegals will be familiar with the work being done for you. The advantage is that, if you call when your attorney is out of the office, the paralegal working on your file can relay your message and assist the attorney in responding promptly to your concern.

Pyfer, Straub, Gray & Farhat, P.C. is a comprehensive law firm in the traditional sense. We are able to counsel and advise our clients on a wide range of matters, including business management, personal injury, estate planning, real estate, zoning, domestic relations, criminal and similar problems.

To carry out what we perceive to be the full range of our responsibilities to our clients, we concentrate on monitoring and evaluating recent changes in the law and how those changes affect your case.

We feel that we are large enough to provide for all.

Attorney/Client Relationship
The relationship between a client and his or her attorney requires complete trust and confidence. This kind of relationship is usually not a problem, but you should understand that you are not obligated to retain our firm and we are not obligated to take your case if we do not feel comfortable with one another.

If you choose to retain us, we will keep you fully informed on the progress of your case. Sometimes you will hear from us by telephone and sometimes by memorandum or by way of an informational copy of a letter which we have sent or received. Please feel free to call with questions if you have any concerns regarding your case. Regardless of the type of case, each of our clients is important to us.

Selecting an Attorney
We will help you select the right member of our staff to handle your work. Contact any of our attorneys whom you know, or call our office at 717-299-7342 for an appointment. After you explain your legal matter, you will be referred to the lawyer in the firm who is best qualified to handle that type of work. Each attorney concentrates on specific areas of the law and pursues continuing legal education in those areas.

Fees
We attempt to handle our clients' legal matters as economically and promptly as possible. Our fees are based on the time actually spent on your file, complexity of the work involved and the results achieved. Some work is undertaken on an hourly basis, while for some matters a flat fee is appropriate. In many cases, we request a deposit. Before you decide to retain our firm, there should be a clear understanding about the extent of the work we are authorized to do. We will discuss the types of legal work, remedies and alternatives required in your case and the estimated time and expense involved.

We bill most of our clients on a monthly basis. If, as the work progresses, there are unexpected developments which require a longer time to complete your work or greater expense than originally anticipated, we will inform you as soon as we recognize the fact.

Community Concern
In addition to being officers of the Courts, lawyers, by the very nature of their calling, have special obligations as good citizens and community leaders. Pyfer, Straub, Gray & Farhat, P.C. actively encourages its members to participate in community affairs.
